Courses in the MA track focus on central issues related to the Israeli economy, discussing their impact on social policy. These include issues concerning the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi), pension funds and their impact on the economy, as well as on social service policies in Israel.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-hskrigo elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"hskrigo\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Curriculum Objectives<\/h4>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-984u5uc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"984u5uc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>The syllabus seeks to equip students with the correct procedures for collecting, organizing and implementing economic information. It also provides the practical tools needed to apply information to behavior prediction and policy evaluation. Among course materials are practical game tools for solving the conflict of interest situations. Students also gain accounting and financing knowledge at a level befitting a senior economist. The range of theoretical electives, which includes courses on public economics, labor economics and industrial organization, combines theories with examples from Israel and worldwide.
