Curriculum Objectives
The curriculum qualifies students to fill roles in the field of bookkeeping and accounting in the Israeli workplace. Training is based on providing disciplinary background and professional tools in seven main fields: economics, financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, management sciences, taxation, and legal aspects.
Our curriculum is built on a broad approach to economics and accounting. The curriculum develops the ability to handle accounting knowledge and ascertains its nature. It emphasizes recent changes in the world of management, business and commerce in Israel while simultaneously taking note of social and technological developments from the perspective of accounting and management.
Curriculum
Courses combine economics and advanced accounting. Students gain practical accounting tools which assist in handling accounting and bookkeeping information while receiving an understanding of the world of economics: the capital market, public finance, micro, macro, funding, and more. The BA in Economics and Accounting is a 3-year program. Graduates wishing to prepare for the Council of Accounting examination require an additional year of study. Successfully passing the Council’s exam qualifies the graduate as a CPA approved by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel.
